Good Laughs (kids)

Thanks to my good friend Ginny and my sister Faith, i've decided to make this page dedicated to the funny things my children say.  There are sooooo many that I can't remember them all.  I will try my best to document them as they come.  Here's one from today:

Joi~ (high pitched voice at 7am) Hey Josh, guess what? I look JUST like you! Josh~ (scowled face, deep voice, squinted eyes, balled up fists) NO YOU DON'T! Don't you ever say that again! You really need to ask God to take away your lies! Jaida~ (4yr old instigator) Oh no, here we go! (hand on hip shaking her head) I don't know what's going on but i'm not gettin' in that mess. Y'all need to change your attitudes! Me~ Looking at the calender counting down the days until hubby gets home!

So, Josh is rushing to finish dinner before football practice & Joi decides to eat later so that she won't mess with him. I told her that she can eat while maintaining good behavior. She says "no thanks, that's too hard to do!" Josh chimes in and says "Finally, she's admitting that she's bad!" Joi says "I only admit that once, JOSH!" Then he said "i'm going to pray for you because you're in denial!" LOL!!!!!!

So Josh volunteered to do the closing prayer after football practice!!! We held our breath because God only kows what he will say out of his mouth...lol. During his prayer he said "God, I want to say thanks for allowing me to have the last bowl of Lucky Charms!!!!" He was totally serious...

So, we're in Massachusetts with hubby for a business trip and this was the conversation I over heard from the kids. 
Josh: So, Jaida are you going to be good today?
Jaida: Because why? (hand on hip)
Josh: So that we can go to the pool!!
Jaida: Ohhhh be quiet!!!!  I want to be bad ANNNND still go to the pool!!!

~ For the past few days Josh has been totally frustrated with his sister Joi. This was his prayer this morning "God please help Joi to stop MANTIPLYING me (he meant to say manipulating)... deliver her from her bad behavior. Help her to stop being so loud, annoying, mean and nasty toward me and completely transform her into someone i'd enjoy being around!~ AMEN, thank you in advance!"

~ Every morning on the way to school we drive by a powerplant.  One day, while driving by Joi said "hey mom & dad! that's where they make clouds!!!"

~ Today on the ride home from school Joi said "mom, did you know that teachers and moms have to grow eyes in the back of their heads? I wonder if it hurts?"~~ NO COMMENT!!!!  I turned the radio up and continued to drive as if nothing was ever said :)
